            This dance was notated by Prof. Dr. Johannes Kiinzig in Langeschiltach (Black Forest) Langenschiltach is near St. Georgen in direction of Schrambach. The 'Holderbeerli' is a Rhythm changing- dance that belongs to the category of 'Zwiefache'. In this area, as well in Wurtemberg, this type of dance is called a 'Heuberger'

In measures 1 through 12 men simply walk in LOD clapping on
measures 1,4,7,10,and 12.

          This dance was collected by Erna Schützenberger in 1954 in Obemzell. The word 'Hott' is used by coachmen to indicate 'right'.   'Scheck' is a piebald horse.
