  AFGFDG Treasurer’s News  

 

 

 

Dear Members:

 

          It’s that time of year again. Dues were due as of 1st January 2011.  Our fiscal year runs from January 1st -Dec.31. Dues paid from January to August are credited in the current year unless specified (making up for unpaid dues in previous year).  If paid after August, they are dues for the following year.

          We do not send out reminder notices except for this one.  According to our by-laws, we must have a quarter of our membership present to constitute a quorum at our meetings.  If members do not pay until the meeting date, it becomes difficult to know just what is a quorum for that meeting.  Please help us make this easier by paying promptly in January.  While this is a renewal notice, sometimes we do receive dues for new membership from this form.  Please indicate on the form 'renewal’ or 'new’.
